Jamir Pollard Obituary

Jamir attended Warrensville and Maple Heights City Schools. During his 8th grade year, Jamir was recognized and awarded “The Outstanding Artwork” Certificate by the Maple Heights Board of Education. Stepping into his 9th grade year He was voted “Mr Freshman” for homecoming. Jamir graduated from Maple Heights High School and continued his education at The Ohio Media School where he graduated May 21, 2021.

Jamir was the “Life of the Party”. He had and Infectious Smile and Personality that would light up any room. Jamir was extremely family oriented. He loved to be around his family and friends cracking jokes and making everybody laugh. He had a passion for creating memories and capturing all life’s moments. Jamir had big aspirations to play sports but due to his heart condition he found a passion for the Camera. He started his own business as a Photographer/Videographer called JP Productions where he captured cherished memories for Family and Friends.

Jamir was ecstatic about the upcoming birth of his daughter Jai’Lani Milan Pollard with Brandis Smith. His solid foundation of family values guided his love of becoming a Dad. Jamir loved his parents and siblings and would do whatever it took to see them smile. He was the comedian of the family and his favorite lines were “Where You From” or “As You Should”. Jamir’s expressions and humor were unique, and his presence was one you would never forget and want to be around.

Jamir is preceded in death by Mae-Ling Johnson (maternal grandmother)

Jamir is survived by his parents Porcha Motley and James Pollard. Ja’Von Pollard(brother) Janiya Pollard(sister) Jalaiya Pollard(sister) Brandis Smith (mother of Jai’Lani) Delores Motley(great-grandmother) Patricia Johnson(great-grandmother) Earl Motley  grandfather(Tanya) Patricia Pollard grandmother (Arthur). He leaves his closet Aunt Sheena Johnson and Aunts and Uncles that he had close bonds and relationships with and host of family and friends.
