Janie Genice Jones was born on October 20th 1964. She is the loving daughter of Carolyn Hornsby and MC Jones. She attended Glenville high school, where she would thrive and continue her education at Cuyahoga community College. While attending college she was rewarded the honor to meet her inspiration Dr. Maya Angelou.
Jan worked several jobs but found a lot of pleasure in being a phenomenal mother, a wonderful sister and a phenomenal friend.
Jan was truly a women with a heart of gold, and she always instilled in her children the importance of unity and giving someone there flowers while they were living.
Jan had a passion and talent of touching the lives of everyone who knew her. Whether it was giving someone encouragement or advice or a simple phone or a listening ear.
Her passion and gift to communicate with people later on lead to aiding her in a position of counseling people at the Cleveland sight center.
She was actively involved as a counselor at the Cleveland sight center.
Janie Genice Jones is survived by her three children Christina Jones, Stefeena Jones and Steve Elliott.
She is the beloved sister of her siblings Dewey Jones (deceased) Thomas Jones, Douglas Jones, Wendolyn Miller and Benjamin McLeod. And nieces and nephews and family and friends
Janie will be returning home to heaven with her beautiful mother Carolyn Christine Hornsby, her father M.C Jones, her big brother Dewey Jones and her children that she lost in heaven.
Janie is literally one of the strongest people in the world and when faced with adversities,she would always fight and prove she could accomplish any and everything she wanted to do. Now this beautiful angel can rest in heavenly peace and have eternal bliss.
